For my scenario this is the best solution to control a linux box without keyboard/mouse. I am using it together with "kdeconnect". Essential are the ALT, CTRL, TAB, and ESC key, so you could really use all kinds of short cuts. Nice that it runs on Android 4.x devices (I'm still using some old tablets, e.g. Samsung SM-T230).
