Remap hardware buttons to launch any app, shortcut or action
Hi. Thanks for the app. Can I use it to turn my mobile on?
WARNING: - Do NOT install either the Google Play or ANY version of this for Nvidia Shield TV. Problems include:- remapped buttons original functions not working (only the newly assigned functions), even if extra options to negate this are chosen within the app.- the "talkback" feature (TTS will engage and speak EVERY menu option ) will turn on when the "A" button is pressed (fo no reason)*.- previously assigned home launchers (that might have been default) will no longer work, forcing the Leanback launcherto become the default launcher again.The developer has insisted that this is not the fault of this app, but these problems ONLY occured while this app was running. Versions prior to 1.0 were stated by the dev as not being compatible with Android Tv/Shield Tv, yet a pre 1.0-1.0 version is still only available at the Google Play store for Nvidia Shield/Android TV. Version 1.0 is also broken.Do NOT install or use this application for Nvidia Shield/Android TV. The ONLY way to "fix" it (if you have and encounter these problems) is to attach a mouse/keyboard to your Shield and navigate to the app settings and uninstall it. *To disable "Talkback", go to "settings/accessibility/talkback", then restart your device (providing you have uninstalled the "Button Mapper" app prior.
