BitChute is a peer to peer video hosting platform
I cant verify or deny what the ZTE user said(z971) but if security is an actual concern of yours, the last thing you should be doing is using a ZTE phone. I DL'd this and the BitSlide app from google before they decided to monopolize video streaming market share by delisting the app of their nearest competitor, so I'm not gonna re-DL just to see if i can hurt my phone. Now for the actual service. BitChute, along with its better android, BitSlide, is a great video platform that actually acts like a platform instead of a wannabe publisher. The videos you'll find are very similar to what youd see on mid-to-late 2000's YouTube. Remember, youtube got its start from Bum Fights, Alternative Philosophy(believe it or not, Atheism used to be outside the circle of acceptability). If you want to decide for yourself what you find: Funny/Interesting/Important/Misleading, then get off curated youtube and checkout BitChute. TL;DR:-Funny that the ZTE user is the one complaining about security issues. -BitChute and its android client BitSlide is a great platforms that resembles YouTube circa 2008. -Youtube criticizing Bitchute for content is like you yelling at a child, admonishing them for an opinion you had when you were that age.
BitChute represents the unfulfilled promise of YooTube circa 2008 - an unfiltered, free marketplace of every type of imaginable idea and thought, along with a Then-Common/Now-Audacious belief in the Liberal viewpoint that a free individual ought to be (and indeed, has an Irrevocable Right to be) trusted to decide which ideas suit him/her self. The Curated(or in non-NewSpeak: "interferent") nature of many of today's legacy platforms is the primary reason for their transformation into echo chambers. Their proposed solution, of ever more interference, clearly demonstrates inability to understand the problem or its origin, and serves only to exacerbate it further. Tl;dr: If yoo liked YooTube before it decided to court large corporations while stifling the independent creators who actually made yootube into what it was, BitChute is the closest yoo'll find. On mobile however, yoo'd be wise to use the 3rd party BitSlide app instead, for increased functionality.
