Mindfulness training program.

It is a training program in Mindfulness or Full Attention, the mind's ability to direct attention to the present moment with acceptance of everything that arises.

Mindfulness training has solid research supporting its benefits in promoting emotional regulation and reducing stress.

REM proposes a guided teaching, and not just a set of meditations, for a gradual training through 8 stages that can coincide with days, weeks, or months, depending on the preferred or possible pace for each user.

Each stage offers three sections that are called: LISTEN, PRACTICE and INTEGRATE. Through the program you will learn in the LISTENING section some important information for the training of your mind, you will be introduced in the PRACTICE section in the fundamental practices of Mindfulness and in the INTEGRATE section ideas will be suggested to incorporate this attitude in the daily life.

The program is developed by a team of three psychiatrists and a clinical psychologist, who work within the Spanish National Health System, at the La Paz University Hospital and at the Príncipe de Asturias Hospital and at the Autonomous and Alcalá Universities in Madrid. This team of experts has been a pioneering group in the integration of Mindfulness programs into their usual clinical practice with patients suffering from depression, anxiety, chronic pain, or other disorders, as well as oncological, infectious, or neurological diseases. They have also carried out research work on the effects of these programs on different health problems and the impact that this training has on the training of future therapists. They have published their work in international impact magazines, in books and in book chapters.

The program has been designed by them based on other standardized Mindfulness programs that they have also trained, on data from the international scientific literature, on the rigorous study of Buddhist texts, the root of the practice, and on their extensive clinical experience.

Both the teachings offered in the listening section or the formal practices have a maximum duration of 12 or 15 minutes, to make them accessible to daily activity and gently approach daily practice.

The program also offers you statistics on your practices, both for each section separately, and globally. It also provides you, if you wish, daily reminders about the time chosen for the practice and on the last day, the 8th stage of the program, it proposes to send you at a future time, a reminder written by you in the form of a letter, with everything that you have found valuable to keep for the rest of your life.

You can listen and practice the first two stages for free. The stages from 3rd to 8th are unlocked after paying a small cost of 3.99 euros. You can use the program and explore it at your discretion, but you can also follow the steps as suggested in the application. In this case, the learning in the Listening section and the practices in the Practicing section gradually graduate from stage 1 to stage 8, so that it is possible to integrate all this naturally into your life.
