Measure every step and second of your run precisely!

Rekortan Smart provides accurate running data. It is especially suited to measure sprint times and step frequency with high precision on running tracks, requiring no special equipment setup. With Rekortan Smart you can connect to special tracks, so-called SmarTracks locations. These tracks have integrated technology that enables you to time your run via smartphone with unseen precision.

Smartphone Requirements

- Minimum Android 5, recommended Android 7.1+

- GPS, Compass, Accelerometer and Gyroscope required

- Bluetooth 4+ (only for Bluetooth sensor connectivity)

Equipment requirements

The app is designed to be used with a belt that holds the smartphone at your lower back. Results from using the app in other positions on athlete's body will be less precise. We recommend purchasing a flexible running belt which allows you to wear the smartphone at the lower back. We have good experiences with the 2bFit belt or Formbelt available online.

We are also in the process of producing our own belts and will notify you when those are available.

Location requirements

The primary feature of the app - Track Run - should be used with SmarTracks locations. SmarTracks locations have underground timing gates strategically distributed over the track allowing very accurate timing. SmarTracks locations are exclusively built by our partner SportGroup.

Some of those tracks are accessible for the public, some are private or operated by universities, sports clubs or municipalities. Please check with the operator of the track if in doubt.
