QueTel’s Issue TraQ Quartermaster software uses barcodes to automate all supply functions of a uniformed agency into one umbrella system. It begins by keeping track of inventory levels in each agency unit that is responsible for supplying equipment, uniforms, and/or supplies, including helping to prevent stock outages and tracking usage levels. A few mouse clicks provide managers with a complete list of items issued to employees and supplies usage. A range of optional utilities automate the entire process of controlling and managing such materiel; saving time; and eliminating paper. Knowing exactly what an agency has, and who has it, provides the basis for reducing costs.
