About pulse2357

Comprovisational game. The game is played by two, but you can also play alone.

The game is played by two people, but of course you can also take turns playing alone.

The opponents sit opposite each other at the narrow ends of the tablet or smartphone.

The player whose side appears green starts with the first move.

A move consists of tapping on a free space on the board. If there is a tile in the vertical or horizontal

direction that is uniquely closest to that location, that tile is placed in the free space.

The aim of the game is to complete as many diagonal chains of three as possible with your own

moves. Each player has a notice board on which it is noted which diagonal chains of three he has

already completed. The chains of three completed by the opponent are highlighted in grey. Two

chains of three are considered to be different from each other if the numbers in which their colours

appear are different (red red green instead of red red yellow). A difference only in the permutation

of the same colours does not count as different (red green red instead of green red red are

considered equal).

If at least fifty percent of the possible triple chains have been found, the player who has completed

the most of them is considered the winner. This player alone may then move the game pieces until a

situation occurs in which all game pieces are involved in at least one diagonal triple chain.

Overlapping of chains of three is also allowed. A further click on the playing field creates a new

random starting arrangement of the game pieces to start a new game.

The triple chains currently present on the playing field are interpreted as sounds. The frequency is

formed as a product of the prime factors assigned to the colours: blue=2, red=3, green=5, yellow=7.

For the sound generation, a fourth factor is added to each triple chain, which is derived from the

number of colour permutations of a triple chain. Here too, one of the prime factors 2,3,5 or 7 is

taken. Blue blue blue green would correspond to the number 2*2*2*5 = 40. This value is transposed

by the factor 196/16 to identify the smallest possible chain with the lowest tone (g). Regardless of

the course of the game, there is a counter (t=0,1,2,3,4,...) Whenever a chain of four is a divisor of

the current value of t, a tone is heard. There is also a parametric assignment, which ensures that

different instruments are addressed in different timbres.
