Publica e-reader app is the official app of the Publica.com platform and is the first app ever to allow users to buy ebooks instantly using the Quorum blockchain!

E-reader app is serving double duty as an ebook reader and cryptocurrency wallet.

☆ How Publica works:

Each book available in the e-reader app is represented by a unique cryptocurrency token (also called BOOK token). In order to access the content, you have to create a new wallet and add some funds, claim trial or import your existing wallet address. When purchasing an ebook in the e-reader app, users are purchasing a BOOK token which is representing the access key to a book. It is possible to buy multiple copies of a book and send ebooks to other people (by sending the corresponding BOOK token from one user to another).

By leveraging the blockchain technology users can now send, receive and purchase books from and to anywhere in the world! All transactions are happening under-the-hood, to make the user experience as smooth as possible.
