This second edition of the book is a revision and development of a thesis entitled "An Overview of An-Nabhani's Thoughts About Personality", which was ratified in May 2007 at the UNISBA Faculty of Psychology. The purpose of this writing is to describe Taqiyuddin An-Nabhani's thoughts about personality, in an effort to position it as a scientific study in Islamic psychology. That is, establish propositions related to human behavior. The research design used is descriptive by using a library study research strategy. Nonetheless, this book has added Islamic psychology research that uses the conceptions of Taqiyuddin An-Nabhani. This research even existed/was carried out by Amalia Roza Brillianty, M.Si before the author's thesis was completed. In this case, the author is very grateful to Amalia Roza Brillianty, M.Si, who has allowed the author to present the results of her research in this book.

Taqiyuddin An-Nabhani was a Muslim scholar and thinker who lived in the period 1914 AD - 1977 AD. His thoughts were original referring to the Koran and al-Hadith, had descriptions of unique human nature/concepts, explained human behavior in general , explains specific human behavior on the basis of the culture in which humans live, explains human behavior that has a vertical dimension (divinity), almost all of the concepts used in explaining human behavior have definitions/explanations, and have been implemented in more than 40 countries and successfully scored Islamic personality in individuals, namely the formation of 'aqliyyah Islam and nafsiyyah Islam.

It is hoped that this book can be used as material for consideration for the development of Islamic psychology and as input for the (possible) development of an Islamic-based psychology curriculum.
