About Protect UP

pilot system aiming to support Gaza psychosocial referral system

Peer to Peer Referral APP is a pilot system aiming to support Gaza psychosocial referral system. In particular, giving to 21 CBOs involved in the action the chance to refer the most challenging cases, which they are not able to take care of directly. The system will be connecting the existent Gaza Referral Systems, in particular the ones lead by Gaza Gender Base Violence sub-cluster, and Child Protection sub-cluster. During the needs assessment of the project we have been noticed that many organization didn’t have enough tools to refer difficult cases to other organization or professional working in the mental health and psychosocial sector. The platform will allow the CBOs involved in the project to refer cases to specialized organizations. The information will be coded and readdress automatically to organizations having the capacity to respond to the refer needs.
