Prarang - Hyper-local Smarter Citizenship

Prarang is a mobile application that reaches out to people in their own cities/regions , in their own language with photo- centered content which is meaningful, re-connects them with their roots adds colour positivity to their daily life. The content is delivered in the form of letters or daily-posts, which are then re-organized into a 60-topic grid for each city/region. Life in each geography is a balance of Culture Nature, with 3 categories 30 sub-categories under each, totalling a Prarang- Sixty. Each user can also save these daily posts, comment on them share them with friends family who don’t have a mobile phone. The purpose of Prarang is just one: It aims to create – “Respect for Diversity, A Belief in Unity”. Prarang assists each City/Region in recognizing what unites it makes it special; and its citizens to develop an interest in respecting its own diversity of both its culture its natural resources.
