The years-long success of the Porsche 901 in 1963 was something that even Porsche did not expect. As a result of the Peugeot brand having a model named 901, the model name had to be changed to Porsche 911.

Among the super sports cars, the only model whose general lines have not changed since its first production is the Porsche 911. The overall design details of this iconic sports car are taken from the VW Beetle (Turtle).
