OVERVIEW

Politiscope strips away the unnecessary complexity of politics and empowers the voter population with raw, unbiased information about their elected officials and the policies they support. The app centralizes nonpartisan political information by summarizing and simplifying factual, unbiased information on government policies and elected officials. Current topics are highlighted daily and users have the ability to follow bill topics and politicians they are interested in. Politiscope aims to educate the voter population by providing transparent, truthful political information and offer a reliable alternative to biased and fake news. We scrape information from government sites such as the following: https://api.propublica.org/, https://theunitedstates.io/, https://www.congress.gov/, and https://api.open.fec.gov/.

We do NOT have any affiliation with any of the government sites that we pull information from or any government agency. Politiscope is a non-partisan and stand-alone private entity.
