Select and scroll items on the screen using the DPAD buttons on dumbphones.

Pointy allows users with Dumbphones like the CAT S22 Flip and Qin F22 Pro to use just the keypad to select items on the screen and scroll through lists using the DPAD navigation buttons.

Pointy overlays a mouse pointer on the screen which can be moved around the screen using the DPAD direction buttons and any item on the screen can be selected using the DPAD center button.

You can also scroll through the items on the screen up and down or left and right, by moving the cursor to the bottom, top or left and right edges of the screen.

Up and down scrolling can also be done using the 2 and 8 buttons on the keypad.

Use 2 to scroll up and 8 to scroll down.

It allows the user of a dumbphone to just use the keypad like in traditional feature phones without having to resort to touching the screen.

PROMINENT DISCLOSURE:

Pointy makes use of the AccessibilityAPIs on Android to provide its features.

It requires you to enable its accessibility service before you can use it.

This app uses this service only to enable its functionality.

It needs the following permissions:

○ View and control screen

• is needed to overlay a mouse pointer on the screen, and to disable Pointy in certain apps where it is not required

○ View and perform actions

• is needed to perform touch gestures that simulate a select or scroll event

We do not use the accessibility API to violate your privacy in any way.

None of the data that is collected by the app using the accessibility API is ever

transmitted out of your device. The usage of the accessibility features will never be used for something else.
