Plastic Punch Sea Turtle Data

This app helps in preserving turtles by recording sightings of them

Turtles are endangered and are very likely to be poached on by people. Worse, predators exists that could further reduce the declining turtle population. Plastic Punch, an NGO has therefore decided to put time and effort into the development of this app which helps any person who finds a turtle put a record of this turtle on file with images, specifying whether the turtle was hurt or not.

If the turtle was found in a situation that requires it to be moved, trained members of the organisation are allowed to move the turtle and provide GPS coordinates of the former and current location of the turtle and reasons for which the turtle needed relocation.

Untrained users can also use the app and record turtles for further action to help preserve them. Posts are included in the app for members on the handling of turtles and a lot of other information about turtles.
