eMonitoring of Plantation for West Bengal Forest Department

Monitoring Circle, West Bengal Forest Department took the initiative to develop & implement EMP in 2021-2022 to ascertain the relative success of Plantations done across West Bengal under various schemes. This app will help the Range Officer & Staff in more than one way to conduct monitoring in the field.

ePlantation Monitoring app or EMP is an extension of the EMP- Web application to collect the data on a real-time basis from the fields directly. EMP will effectively collect, process, and analyse the huge data of all plantations done under all government schemes and bring more transparency.

Data Collection:

Every monitoring data will include basic information of physical location along with species and Site polygon in KML or multiple GPS points. The data collected using EMP will sync real-time with the web application to process & generate various MIS reports.
