About pixl

A weird little game about evolution.

"This is where it all starts. A small glade in an endless forest. In the high grass you see three moose eating flowers. They look calm."

Please read the "Help" page (Menu->Help) of the app to learn the basics about Pixl.

Pixl is a weird little retro-styled game about moose & evolution. You can feed & breed your moose and watch them walking around and doing whatever moose do.

Every moose has its own personality that shapes his behavior. You can build entire moose families, you can watch the kids of your moose grow up and become parents themselves. You can name them, build friendships and be irrationaly sad once they die.

Think of it as a weird mix of a simulation game and an electronic pet.

As I said, it's a weird game and it's probably not for everybody. I just hope that you have as much fun playing it as I had creating it.

This is the Android port of the original pixl version for SailfishOS.

Pixl does not and will never contain ads, in-app purchases or social media plugins.

Source code (licensed under GPLv3) is available on Github. For questions and ideas, please contact me via email.
