This application is about pilgrimage places and sacred shrines in Uzbekistan.

The State research grant 56-01 / 10 - “Innovative opportunities of the catalog (in five languages) of “The Pilgrimage places of Uzbekistan” in the popularization of historical monuments” was implemented under the Public Support Fund for NGOs and other Civil Society Institutions with Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Friendship Society “Uzbekistan-France”.

This book contains documents about the main pilgrimage places of all the regions of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The work of various authors on this topic, as well as Internet resources are included in this book. The catalog has been prepared in Russian, English, French and German languages based on scientific – historical materials published on these topics. The professors and teachers, PhD students, researchers and students of the National University of Uzbekistan named after Mirzo Ulugbek participated in the process of translation.
