Behind it stands immense hard work of Rahul Papal. Today he stands as a good example of what a person can achieve on the strength of grit, vision and hard work. Nowadays, attractive vehicles (food trucks) of Ladachi Kulfi can be spotted on several main roads in Pune. Puneites throng to these food trucks as they get quality kulfis at very affordable rates. This popularity is gained after a long and toiling journey. Behind it stands the study, imagination and hard work of a man with a goal.

Rahul Papal and his Ladachi Kulfi have succeeded in popularizing the common kulfi on the strength of innovation and experiments. That too within a year. Papal, who is uneducated in worldly parameters, is only 32 years of age today. He is educated only up to eighth grade. He dropped out after failing thrice in the eighth class. However, he excelled in marketing due to his excellent public relations and communication skills.

He is the owner of a fast-growing business venture today. Papal worked as a salesman in an ice cream company for a few years. During this time, he learned all the tricks of the ropes in the trade. This is where he got the idea of what consumers wanted, what was available in the market and what was not as well as what could be sold if presented anew. However, realizing that his imagination and vigor faced limits while working as a salesman, Papal decided to venture out on his own.
