Organizational Details :-

OXFORD SHIKSHA PRASAR SANSTHAN is a voluntary, non-profit organization established in the year 2000 by a team of a group of likeminded social activists dedicated for the welfare of mankind particularly for the deprived and disadvantaged sections of the society took the initiative for the formation of the organization.

The organization already possess sufficient experience in implementing health care initiatives with the support of Directorate of Family Planning, Voluntary Health Association of India, District Health Administration (Kannauj), Tobacco control programme and other socioeconomic development programmes including women’s employment and empowerment oriented training and capacity building programmes under employment oriented skill development training in various trades with the support of Uttar Pradesh Mahila Kalyan Nigam, leadership development training with the support of Ministry of Minority affairs, Government of India, Vocational training for adolescent girls under Kishori Shakti Yojana of Department of ICDS, Govt. of Uttar Pradesh, Running of primary school for poor and deprived children, Running of Child labour schools, running of Rajiv Gandhi Creche cnter with the support of Central Social welfare board, conducting Environment awareness programme etc. Preference has always been given to women of poor and backward class and other socially excluded community in all these programmes at the proposed project areas and at other places where the organization is engaged in women empowerment programmes. A list of major programmes implemented by the organization for last five years is attached separately.

These activities have enabled the organization to earn an unblemished reputation and it enjoys high credibility and recognition at all levels – not only with the beneficiaries in programme areas but also with donor agencies and government authorities

Vision :-

Vision- Oxford Shikha Prasad Sansthan as a voluntary organization envisions to support and empower resource poor community to organize themselves in a collaborative spirit, develop, manage and run welfare activities/schemes for the larger benefit of the community and help them join the mainstream of society.

Mission :-

Mission- The mission of the organization is to work for sustainable holistic development by conducting research studies, surveys and need-based assessment of programmers for rural and urban development, mobilizing & empowering rural community with focus on women, providing them quality education, health-care, family welfare, vocational training and creating awareness on Conservation of environment and inculcation of values and culture, thereby achieving the overall objectives of contributing to the all-round development of the deprived section of the society.
