OrbitEarth is an app that provides real-time information from people, social media sites (Twitter, Google+, etc.), and reputable sources such as NASA, CNN, and BBC to cause awareness on developments around the world that affect the Earth. It also performs simple analytics to determine the public's mood or sentiment towards, say, a reported disaster.

With OrbitEarth, people may anticipate whether a crisis is forthcoming based from the feeds from various sources. Thus, people become more prepared to deal with disasters when they happen.

OrbitEarth was developed by the UPANG for EARTH team of the Phinma University of Pangasinan (Dagupan City), College of IT Education.
