This app uses Uber's API to get fare estimates for places near you, and then maps out a grid of markers with the associated surge multipliers for calling a given Uber product at that location. You can use this app to see if there's somewhere a few blocks away from you that might have half the cost to get home.

I was inspired to build this app after seeing no Android alternative for SurgeProtector (a app with a similar purpose for iOS)
