Northanger Abbey is a romantic novel by writer Jane Austen.

Catherine Morland is a naive girl and obsessed with Gothic novels. On a trip to Bath, she is invited by the Tilneys to spend a season at Northanger Abbey.

Catherine will fall victim to her excessive imagination and will investigate tortuous and imaginary family secrets. The reality will reveal a world perhaps more absurd and anguished than imagined by the worst of her fantasies.
