Nigeria National Football Team Players

Nigeria's national football team, also known as the Super Eagles, represents Nigeria in international football associations and is controlled by the Nigeria Football Federation. They are three-time winners of the African Cup of Nations, with their recent title in 2013, after defeating Burkina Faso in the final.

In April 1994, the Super Eagles were fifth in the international ranking, the highest ranking ever achieved by an African football team. Throughout its history, the team has qualified for six of the last seven World Cups, missing only the 2006 World Cup held in Germany and has reached the turn of the round three times. Their first appearance at the World Cup was the 1994 edition organized by the United States.
