Thank you for your interest in my app-book with audio.
The difference between "NANNU ANCILU Cuntava… Accussì!" and the book "NANNU ANCILU Cuntava…" is that in this version the spoken story has been added to the text written in Sicilian. The written texts are the same.
"NANNU ANCILU Cuntava… Accusi!" it is an experiment strongly wanted from the afterlife, in memory of the afternoons spent during my childhood listening to typical stories or stories invented at the moment by my fantastic grandfather, always cheerful and jovial who loved having us sit around. On summer afternoons when he returned at sunset, having refreshed himself from his field work, he would sit on a straw chair and begin his stories which invariably ended with a "narrative ellipsis", because the main characters needed time to travel or perform an action that required a break historical, typical of endless serialized stories. The book deliberately published in Palermitan Sicilian consists of rather famous traditional stories and unpublished stories based on anecdotes or events of the time.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Once the application is installed, the splash screen will appear from which with a simple touch you can go directly to the interactive index of the book. On each page there is a button to listen to the story. Click once to start and once to stop it. Beware that every time you click on the "Ascuta 'u cuntu" button the story starts over.
At the bottom of all pages there are two more text buttons to go to the previous or next chapter. From the menu you can go back to the beginning or to the index.
IMPORTANT: This application is self-contained and works in its entirety without special permissions or links to external resources.
I would like to point out that this app DOES NOT USE sensors nor geolocation programs.

- The index screens, the preface, the author's notes, the introduction, the prologue and 10 short stories written and told orally in Sicilian.
