We invite you to our interiors, which will allow you to move to the world of amber. Here you can see unusual exhibits, such as the largest lump of amber in the world with an entry in the Guinness Book of Records, the amber chamber, baroque chess - one of the four sets preserved in the world, or the only and unique amber guitar. Learn the history of amber and its numerous varieties. Find out what an inclusion is and hear about our unique specimens. Visit the amber forest with us and learn about the role of glaciers in Polish deposits. We will tell you where and how to find amber, and what to do with it afterwards. We will tell you what our ancestors used it for, from prehistory, through the Middle Ages, the golden period of Gdańsk amber making, to contemporary designer objects.

The exhibition is located in the Great Mill in Gdańsk, built by the Teutonic Knights. It was the largest mill in medieval Europe and operated continuously until 1945. From 2021, it is filled with amber and is waiting for your visit.
