This guide app provides comprehensive information on artifacts and archaeological findings exhibited at Uminomichi Munakatakan Museum, which serves as the main hub for activities promoting the inscription of the Sacred Island of Okinoshima and Associated Sites in Munakata Region (Munakata City, Fukuoka Prefecture) on the UNESCO World Heritage List.

Munakata is home to the Genkai Sea where civilizations and items of value crossed paths all throughout history. As much of significant affairs of the past has been made here on and through the Sea, it serves today as the gateway of the 'Road' into the history of ancient Munakata.
