Spread Map findings

The system function brief by one in the field makes a discovery, and here starts one program that derive the GPS position (mobile data is not required) - to make a log in the phone with just a few clicks and take any one or more images of its finds.

When you get home, or wherever else you have a good data signal - sync to his phone with the server, and all findings shows up under "Your Fund" on page www.mitfund.dk where they can be deepened further described and one can possibly put more pictures up of its now purified findings. Here you can found also evaluated with thumbs up or down and recommend the museums to take a look at the result (Museum Worthy findings)

Secure data!

All your data is confidential, especially GPS map coordinates, it is basically only you can see, however, is the National Museum and the museums with time access to log in and see all the findings with all the details. All communication with the server is via HTTPS which is strongly encrypted.

What should be logged?

Basically, anything that can be of historical interest - an example would be things that are older than 50 years, but which is in fact may be of interest to museums in the future. In short, it is up to the individual amateur archaeologist / metal detector leads to determine what he / she sees as being interesting.

Is the public fund?

The individual finds decide whether the individual findings should be publicly or privately - and can also choose to show or hide the map of the found. It is the only public fund, which other members can rate and provide a recommendation to the museum.
