List the name of the missing person If you have filed a police missing report, you can list that person’s name on the app too. Missing person’s reports are usually public record anyway, so there shouldn’t be any legal consequences.

Upload pictures of the missing person Unlike a milk carton, you can list different photos of your missing person. Maybe that person looks different with short and long hair, or with and without a beard.

List the Age of the missing person You can list the age the person was when he or she went missing, and the age that person would be now if still alive. The location where they were last seen You can enter the place the person was last seen and the place the person may have gone missing from.

You can also update this as new (and legitimate reports) come in. Contact only comes via the app You do not have to worry about trolls finding your number and calling you with false-hope pranks. The only contact people may have with you is via the app.

Update the status of the missing persons You can say if that person is still missing or found. It is nice to enter a resolution if the person is found so that people do not keep looking for that person.

Tools to create public materials If you want to create leaflets or posters, you can generate a missing photo with the word Missing on the top. With the app’s tools, you may add a photo, name, and age of every person that is missing with comments about each person.

Most likely, you have already entered your information onto social media, but it doesn’t hurt to put your missing person’s app post on there too.

It allows the posting person to update people with information that may help them recognize or find your loved one. How do you give information to other people if you find somebody?

If you see somebody that looks like a person on the advert, you can contact the person that posted the missing person post. You can also take a photo of the person you think you found and send it to the person that posted the missing person report to ask them if that is the person they are looking for.

You can also pinpoint the location on a map where you saw that person. There is a notice board called the "found section" on the missing person's page.
