Log Launcher

Text based minimal launcher to reduce screen time and increase your productivity

Inspired by the great Olauncher that helps you to reduce screen time by showing only a few apps on the home screen, I thought why not implement the opposite and make it possible to show all apps on a single screen without the need for scrolling etc? Well probably this is not minimal, but trust me Log Launcher increases your productivity as you think twice before you open an app :-P

## How to open apps?

To open an app, simply click on the category that contains the app (ordered by ABC). After log(n) tabs, your app opens. You can also create tags to put your most important apps on the home screen.

## Some features:

- Create your own tags to sort and filter

- Select a "home tag" which is shown when you open the launcher (home screen).

- Once only one app is shown in a category, long-press to configure this app (rename, create tags, hide)

- App search supports commands:

- Enter '*' to show all apps, including all hidden apps

- Enter '!' to show only the hidden apps

- Enter '?' to search within an app. E.g. spotify?acdc. Works if this app supports queries...

- Most used apps are shown in green -- long-press the category to directly open it

- Toggle between app and web search via long press on the search bar

- Click on the date to open the calendar, click on the time to open the clock app

- Integrated screen-lock (enable in settings, then long press refresh button bottom right)

- Highly customizable (horizontal/vertical view, dark / light, text sizes, hide tags bar etc.)

- 100% free and without ads to keep any distraction away from you :D

- Purely text-based, super fast, and small (<5MB)

- Minimalism to increase productivity by exploiting a binary app search.

# Accessibility Service

If you want to use the optional lock screen feature (disabled by default), the accessibility settings are required. No data is collected at all. This permission is only needed to lock the screen. You can disable it at any time once its enabled.

# Disclaimer

Btw. I just made this for fun to reduce my own screen time while I still tried to create something completely new and I love the idea of a binary search for the main UI ;) But any feature request is welcome - simply drop a message here or write me an email :)
