Memories: walk and discover the local heritage of 11 municipalities of L'Aquila in Abruzzo

Memories is a game created as part of the regional project LAB8, which aims to revitalize 11 municipalities in the province of L'Aquila, heavily affected by the 2009 earthquake. Through the game you have the opportunity to explore the local heritage: landscapes, monuments and artistic assets scattered in the 11 Abruzzi centers.

The player will have the opportunity to explore the territory of L'Aquila through suggestive stages represented by "photographic" cards. Each card represents a place of interest, categories, which can be unlocked thanks to the use of the smartphone pedometer: the player will have to accumulate steps to progress in the game.

For each game the player can choose the list of cards with which to play with three criteria: number, category and municipality. Each card unlocked from the player's access to historical and artistic data of each place / monument.

Thanks to the "tournament" mode, Memories gives the user the possibility to play multiplayer games in which each player will compete with the same pink card. Players will be able to challenge each other but also keep an eye on their progress through the player rankings.
