The MatchUpMates (MuM) app strives to enhance and empower students within the search process of the educational dorms/housing process, and teammate search for projects within colleges and universities.

MuM improves the on-campus living experience for university students. MuM caters to the user’s experiences and expectations. MuM will reduce university admin challenges to get the right fit for onboarding students and reassure parents who might worry about their child’s potential roommate and living situation.

The MuM user friendly app is the perfect way to find your compatible match for a Dormmates, Roommates, Teammates or Soulmates. Simply create your profile information, answer your likes, and connect with other students or partner who match with your personality. You can filter hundreds of potential matches based on location, sex, interests, and lifestyle. We make it easy and fun to find the right people so you can focus on making the most of your experience.

MuM is not affiliated with any college or university, but rather is an independent resource for students looking for dormmates at their university. To avoid random choices Mum is leveraging modern technology to uplift students’ experiences on finding better fit for sharing their space.

We try our best to provide a platform that is beneficial to students, parents, and the college housing department. With a resource as such, students are given the freedom to choose their own roommates which will reduce room turnover and transfer rates and allow for students to prioritize both their wellbeing and academic performance.

In most cases these institutions do their best to honor mutual requests but can make no guarantees that you will be placed together for on-campus housing.
