Macedonian Philharmonic Orchestra is the only Symphonic Orchestra in the Republic of Macedonia and the only permanent representative of the symphonic creation on the Macedonian concert scene.

During several decades of existence, Macedonian Philharmonic Orchestra is one of the strongest advocates of the music life in Macedonia and an ambassador of Macedonian music all over the world. Hence, the orchestra sees its role of promoting Macedonian musicians and conductors as well as the promotion of Macedonian contemporary music as being of the utmost importance.
