He used his magic spell and made the princess fall asleep and he also kept a slave to protect her.

Now the lazy slave is also under sleep. This is the right time to escape the princess.

If so, just collect all the items found the cave. Then correlate those items to find the magic stick. By using that magic stick open the cave and make the princess to escape.
