Now in its 13th edition, "La Lucchesina" is the race of the people of Lucca, created to pay homage to a historical figure of Lucca in each edition. For 2024 it will be Giacomo Puccini.

The Lucca Marathon App will be your guide for Lucchesina. You will be able to see all the information on the event, consult the route on the geolocalised map, discover the points of interest that you can visit, and see the partners and sponsors who make the organization of the event possible.

How do you participate in the Lucchesina?

You can run or simply walk alone or in company, as a workout or as a pleasure to see the history that surrounds you or for the pleasant encounters you could have.

The now consolidated event involves everyone and enriches the Half Marathon event with the presence of 1000 runners.

This year, after the start of the Half Marathon, the colorful and festive procession will start from Baluardo San Salvatore and will travel along the ancient streets of the city centre. The route will be enriched with passages under the walls, from the old sorties to access the stands in front from where you can admire the sixteenth-century circle of walls. A short but substantial refreshment will cheer up the end of the route.
