Lock Screen for Kurio App unlocks the Kurio device using Picture Passwords.

Introducing the Lock Screen for Kurio App, based on branded images

This free picture password based Kurio App allows a child to unlock the Kurio device using child focused brands. They make it is easy to enter a Picture Password instead of using join the dots.

When initially downloaded, there is a choice of branded Keypads to download. Each branded Keypad consists of 12 images, allowing the user to choose their own Picture Password sequence based on four of the image buttons. Each time the user wakes up the Kurio device, the same 12 images appear on the keypad, but in a randomised order. When the correct four images are chosen in the same order the device is unlocked. Alternative branded keypads are available to use.

The free App is based on the idea that it is easier to remember pictures than numbers. The App is also more secure than using a traditional keypad because the images shuffle and appear in a different order each time, instead of a static layout like almost all other keypads.

The App lets you unlock your Android device with a Picture Password on a choice of branded keypads.

The App lets you create Your Picture Password using one of the branded keypad. Your Picture Password is the same four images on the keypad, in the same order every time.

The App lets you change your Picture Password whenever you like.

The App is FREE to install and use and comes with a variety of branded keypads.

You can preview Keypads via the Downloads Keypads menu within the App:

During the set up process we ask for your details (email address) and give you a choice of a password reset options - either answer 3 control questions or use a button combination on the device. These can be used to help you reset your Picture Password.

Please note that if you forget your answers to the control questions or the button combination, YOUR DEVICE WILL BE LOCKED. We will send you an email with the answers to the questions and therefore you will need to access your email account via an alternative way in order to read this email.

The main reason to have this information is to help you reset your Picture Password. We will never provide this information to anyone else for marketing purposes, but we may (if you allow us to) send you emails about any new updates or new Apps we may launch.

If you are not using your device, Kurio Lock Screen will timeout at the time chosen in the ‘Screen timeout’ setting in your Settings – Display menu.
