Apocryphal book written between 170 and 64 BC

Chapters 6 to 16 narrate the fall of the angels after disobeying God by mating with human women. It all starts with Semjaza, an angel willing to pay the price for his disobedience. He reports his desire to the other angels, who decide to follow him on the plane. Semjasa is accompanied by eighteen more angels, who in turn lead each other ten. After carrying out the plan, unusual problems start to arise:

"They [human women] got pregnant and gave birth to giants 3,000 cubits tall. They consumed all other men's food supplies. And when people had nothing left to give them, the giants turned against them and began to devour them "(I En 6.2).
