LightBox: resizable, box of light; with a scrolling message banner

LightBox displays a resizable rectangle, from a small box to full screen. You can resize and reposition the box, set the colour and brightness. Touch the middle of the box and drag it to reposition and touch and drag any one of the box corners to resize. There are tools to display a grid, reset the box, choose between full screen or smaller box and lock the screen to prevent accidental changes when moving or touching your device.

You can view photographic transparencies, negatives or X-ray prints with a matched light source without the surrounding glare from a fully lit screen. Of course, if you prefer the full screen you can use that as well. Use LightBox as an inspection light, reading light, night light, light table, photography back light, a signal and … whatever else you can think of!

There is also a message banner scroller that cycles a short message across the screen; you can change the message, text size, colour, scrolling speed and direction.

LightBox uses the following permissions on your device:

Write Settings to change the screen brightness.

Network / Internet to load adverts; access the Google Play app for in app purchase.

LightBox has user selectable links to launch email and web browser apps already set up on your device.

Whilst you are using LightBox your screen will not go into sleep mode.

LightBox is advert supported. To remove the adverts, you can make a one-off payment from within LightBox through Google Play. You will need the latest version of the Google Play app and an active account signed in to make the purchase.
