Practice reading words with Miss Jannie

The app is exactly in line with the reading process at school.

The stories in the app can really be read by children themselves. The stories contain many illustrations that support the text. The text is written at AVI START level. This means that the words are short and simple and are pronounced as you write them.

How does the app work?

The app is very well-arranged so that children can immediately get started independently. Children first start with wagon number 1. This wagon is intended for children who have just started "cutting and pasting" words. The story of train 1 offers 1 word per page. When the children have finished the story, they are asked 2 questions that they have to answer by touching the pictures. When both questions are answered correctly, the children unlock the next carriage. The level of the wagons keeps increasing.

The text is touchable. When a child has difficulty reading a word, the child can touch the word to hear which word it is. This allows a child to continue to practice independently with the stories, even if the child still needs help here and there.
