There are times when understanding a single thought

it is profoundly decisive in our life. Does some

years I sat in a ministerial meeting with

some of my colleagues. Discussion focused on sharing

our faith, witnessing, and evangelism. One

of my friends expressed this thought: “The mission is mainly

God's work. You are using all the resources of the

heaven to save our planet. Our job is to cooperate

joyously with him in his work to save lost people. ”

It seemed as if a heavy burden was lifted from my shoulders.

It was not my job to save a lost world. It was from God. Me

Responsibility was to cooperate with him in what he was already doing.

The idea that mission is the work of God is mentioned as

throughout Scripture. Solomon says it this way: "[God]

He has put eternity in their hearts ”(Eccl. 3:11). When a

individual is born in this world, God places a desire for eternity

deep within the structure of that person's being. How

Augustine of Hippo once said, "Lord, we were made to

you and our hearts will never find rest until

find rest in you ”. According to the Gospel of John, Jesus is

the Light that illuminates every person born in this world (Juan

1: 9). God has not only put within each one of us a

longing for himself but also sends his Holy Spirit to

attract us to it.

Every desire to do the right thing, every conviction of sin,

they are motivated by the Holy Spirit. All desire for goodness and inclination

towards kindness and generosity are motivated first

by the Holy Spirit. Although we may not understand it

completely or we don't realize it, the Holy Spirit is

working in our lives to draw us to Jesus (John 16: 7–15).

But Jesus Himself is the greatest gift of all.
