Lasy Janowskie is a forest complex located in the Sandomierz Basin, on the border of the Lubelskie and Podkarpackie voivodeships. One of the attractions located in their area, in the Janów Lubelski Forestry Inspectorate, is the forest arboretum, for which a mobile application was created to help users explore the forest and learn about interesting species of plants, not only native, but also specially imported here.

The "Forest Garden of Janów Lubelski" mobile application is an extensive knowledge base where valuable and interesting information can be found by users of all ages, both tourists and residents of the area. The application is integrated with the website, together with which they constitute a comprehensive guide to a fragment of the Janowskie Forests. The application includes tourist routes divided into categories and an audioguide, allowing you to visit the arboretum with a lector in the form of Leśny Dziadyga - the guardian of the local forest backwoods. A lot of interesting facts about plants can be found in the encyclopedia, which is enriched with photos of individual species. Spherical panoramas are also interesting, allowing you to look at the forest botanical garden from a completely different perspective. Application users can also check current events taking place in the area.

A particularly interesting attraction for younger users is a quiz with ten questions, which will allow you to organize the knowledge gained during the walk and test your perceptiveness. Text and graphic questions are a real highlight of a forest walk.

After downloading the data, the application can be used offline, which can be especially helpful when navigating a dense forest. The contents of the mobile guide have been prepared in Polish.
