The Book of Matan Aj-Jurumiyah written by Assyekh Abu Abdillah Muhammad bin Muhammad bin Dawud Ash Shinhaji (sometimes called Ash Shonhaji), who is better known as Ibnu Ajurum.

Ibn Ajurum composed matan Al-Ajurumiyah in 719 H, four years before he died.

Ar-Ra'i and Ibnul Haj mention that Ibn Ajurum wrote this book in front of the Kaaba. And Al-Hamidi added that after writing this book, Ibn Ajurum threw his book into the sea saying, "If I wrote this book sincerely for the sake of Allah, then surely this book would not get wet." And it turns out that the Al-Ajurumiyah book that he wrote was not wet. So that even though this book is thin and intended for beginners, his writings are accepted by all groups, and are widely used as grammar in Islamic boarding schools.
