Applications Syarah Jurumiyah Complete Book and its translation

Alhamdulillah, thanks be to Allah S.W.T, finally we, PonPon Media, have successfully completed the Complete Jurumiyah Book application. This Jurumiyah Book contains a collection of nahwu material which covers almost the whole essence of nahwu science. which contains material about important terms in Nahwu science such as isim, fi'il and letters.

As the name suggests, al-Ajurrumiyyah is indeed a muqaddimah (introductory) book about the science of nahwu written by a linguist from Morocco named Abu Abdillah Sidi Muhammad bin Daud Ash-Shanhaji alias Ibnu Ajurrum while in Mecca. This book also needs to be given a more in-depth explanation when a student wants to study the science of nahwu further. For this reason, this book was eventually given many explanations by many scholars, up to thirty explanatory books.

These explanations were later made into a book with al-Ajurrumiyyah. In Arabic literature, books that contain explanations of another book are called sharah books. The basic formulas for studying classical Arabic are written in rhyming form to make it easier to memorize. In Arab society, this book is one of the first books to be memorized besides the Koran.

Among traditional Islamic boarding schools, Kitab Matan Al-Ajurrumiyyah is a very famous textbook on the science of nahwu (Arabic grammar). This book is a standard book which is the basis of Arabic language lessons. Almost every student who studies at a traditional Islamic boarding school begins studying Arabic through this book. This book is a standard book which is the basis of Arabic language lessons.

In practice in the Islamic boarding school world, this book is often called Jurrumiyyah. This naming is not exactly the same as the original name of the book, because the full title of the book is al-Muqaddimah al-Ajurrumiyyah fi Mabadi' Ilm al-Arabiyyah.
