Alhamdulillah, thanks be to Allah S.W.T, finally we PonPon Media have successfully completed the application of the Alala Book and Translation. Contains a collection of Arabic poems about tips for successful learning, choosing friends, the virtues of experts, and encouragement to learn. It can be said that this book is a motivational book of encouragement for students.

The collection of poems is sourced from the book Ta'limul Muta'alilm by Imam Az Zarnuji. The Ta'limul Muta'alilm book itself is a book that contains etiquette or manners for students of knowledge or students. It seems that the Kitab Alala is intended for novice students or elementary-level students. It can be said that this book is an introductory book for novice students before they recite the Ta'limul Muta'allim Book.

Moreover, under the Arabic poems, a Javanese translation using the Arabic Pegon script is also included. So for students to understand the contents will be easier. In this Kitab Alala there are poems that are very useful for providing the foundation of etiquette or etiquette for students. In addition, this book can also raise the fighting spirit of students in studying.

Because this book is in the form of poetry and is accompanied by a translation, students will easily memorize it by singing, singing together or alone. Because it is easy to sing or sing, the advantage is that students quickly memorize the Arabic text and its meaning is quickly understood. On the cover of the book is written the name of the book “Alala”, and it is also written for the students of the Great Lirboyo Islamic Boarding School, Kediri.

The name Alala itself is taken from the beginning of the sound of the first verse which reads "Alala tanlul ilma ..." So that among the students this book is popular as "Syi'iran Alala." The full verse reads:

الا لا ال العلم الا # ا ان

(alala tanalul ilma illa bisittatin # Saunbika an majmu'iha bibayani)

Translation:

"Ilinga dha' the results of the science of Anging nem case # will not critakake kumpule kanthi pertelo"
