In accordance with the name of the book, the author tries to provide a broader explanation of the laws of fiqh from a more concise book of fiqh.

In his book Al-Iqna Fi Halli Alfadz Abi Syuja', he explains about Friday. He stated about Friday almsgiving:

It is recommended to increase your alms and do good deeds on Fridays or Friday nights. Increase your prayers for the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam on the night or afternoon of Friday. Based on the hadith: "Indeed, the most afdhal day is Friday. Therefore, read more prayers for me. Because your blessings were shown to me." (al-Iqna', 1/170)

The Iqna' book itself is an explanatory book on a small book about fiqh which is often known as the Taqrib book, written by Shaykh Abi Syuja'. Like the original book, this book is certainly not much different in terms of content. Namely, it includes discussions of Ubudiyyah, Munakahah, Mu'amlah, and Jinayah.

Of course, the discussion is very extensive, equipped with various arguments, both naqli (Al-Qur'an & Hadith) and aqli arguments (rationality). What is different is the explanation and elaboration, even divided into 3 Juz. This book contains around 1700 pages.

In juz 1 the author discusses thoroughly about Thoharoh (purification) & prayer.

Then, chapter 2 begins with a discussion about Zakat and ends with the Marriage chapter.

Next, chapter 3 begins with a discussion of Criminal Law and closes with the ithqi chapter (Freeing slaves).

The full name of the book "Al-Iqna'" Lafaz "iqna'" is mashdar "aqna'a" which means "satisfying". So, with this title, the author means that people who read it will feel sufficient and satisfied with the explanation in it so that they don't need to ask questions anymore regarding understanding the sentences in "Matan Abu Syuja'".

"Al-Iqna' is a book of jurisprudence of the Ash-Shafi'i school of thought which is a sharia for the book "Matan Abu Syuja'". In terms of its position as sharah, its position is like the book "Fathu Al-Qorib" by Ibnu Al-Ghorobili/Ibnu Qosim Al-Ghozzi, "Kifayatu Al-Akhyar" by Al-Hishni, "Tuhfatu Al-Labib" by Ibnu Daqiqi Al-' Id, "An-Nihayah" by Waliyyuddion Al-Bashir and the like. However, the book "Al-Iqna'" can be classified as a long sharah ("muthowwal") even though it is not too long. The book "Al-Iqna'" is not as concise as "Fathu Al-Qorib" or as middle as "Kifayatu Al-Akhyar". Al-Ghozzi called it "syarhun muthowwalun hafil" (long and concise sharah)
