Description About the Book Al-Hikam of Ibn Atha'illah

Kitab Al-Hikam is the work of Syekh Ibnu Atha'illah, third mursyid of Thariqah Syadziliyah. The first founder Syadziliyah is Syekh Abu Hasan Ali Asy-Shadhili, a Moroccan who later settled in Alexandria, Egypt, and died in 1258 AD He was succeeded by Sheikh Abu Abbas Al-Mursi, who came from Murcia, Andalusia, Spain (died in 1287 M), which continued after his death by Syekh Ibnu Atha'illah.

Syekh Ibnu Atha'illah lived in Egypt in the reign of the Mamluks. He was born in the city of Alexandria (Alexandria), Egypt, then moved to Cairo. In the city where he spent his life teaching school of Imam Maliki Jurisprudence in various intellectual institutions.
