اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ بِعَدَدِ مَنْ صَلَّى عَلَيْهِ وَصَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ بِعَدَدِ مَن ْ لَمْ يُصَلِّ عَلَيْهِ وَصَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ كَمَا أَمَرْتَ بِالصَّلاَةِ عَلَيْهِ وَصَلِّ عَلَى م ُحَمَّدٍ كَمَا تُحِبُّ أَنْ يُصَلَّى عَلَيْهِ وَصَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ كَمَا تَنْبَغِي الصَّلاَةُ عَلَ يْهِ

Allohumma sholli 'ala muhammadin bi 'adadi man shola 'alaihi wa sholli 'ala muhammadin bi 'adadin man lam yusholli 'alaihi wa sholli' ala muhammadin kama amarta bis prayi 'alaihi wa sholli 'ala muhammadin kama tuhibbu an yusholla 'alaihi wa sholli' ala muhammadin kama tanbaghis prayeru 'alaihi.

"O Allah, bestow blessings on the Prophet Muhammad as many as the number of people who pray on him, bestow blessings on the Prophet Muhammad as many as there are people who do not pray on him, bestow blessings on the Prophet Muhammad as You commanded to pray on him, bestow blessings on the Prophet Muhammad as You like so that read blessings on him, and bestow blessings on the Prophet Muhammad as it should be said blessings on him.

Regarding this shalawat, Shaykh Abul Abbas Ibn Mindil mentioned in the book Tuhfatul Maqashid that Imam Syafi'i had been dreamed of by someone. The man asked Imam Syafi'i, "What has Allah done for you?" Imam Shafi'i replied, "Allah has forgiven me." The man asked again, "With what charity?". Imam Sayfi'i replied, "With the five sentences that I use to pray to the Prophet". "What does it look like?" Then Imam Syafi'i said the blessings mentioned above.
