Tashwir al-Fanniy fi al-Qur'an A book written by Dr. Sayyid Qutb (d.1966), with his unique intelligence and spiritual appeal, marked the birth of a new idea about the theory of miracles in the Qur'an.

His study of the unity of aesthetic visualization and rhetoric of the Qur'an is his in-depth study contained in this book, then he strengthened his theory by placing it in scenes of the day of resurrection in the Qur'an, through his book Masyahid al-Qiyamah fi al-Qur 'an.

According to Sayyid Qutb, since the beginning of revelation, the Koran has had a strong influence on the soul because of the way it is spoken. This is because his favorite hobby is aesthetic visualization. According to Sayyid Qutb, the language of the Qur'an provides a spirit that animates abstract meanings into a movement, scene, series of fragments in real life.

For example, the Qur'an reproduces abstract meanings through aesthetic visualization, when it explains that unbelievers will not get the heaven of Allah Ta'ala.

Indeed, those who deny Our signs and are proud of them, the doors of heaven will never be opened for them nor will they enter Paradise, until a camel passes through the eye of a needle. Thus We recompense those who do evil. (Al-A'raf 40)

Readers of the Qur'an will be inspired to visualize in their imagination. The process of opening the doors of heaven and entering a thick thread in the form of a camel, into the eye of a needle. As far as the reader's ability to imagine, it then develops aspects of feeling about the Supreme Being of Allah, and aspects of reasoning about an impossibility that ultimately settles in the recesses of the soul.

Elsewhere, the Qur'an visualizes the futility in the case of shodaqah, by presenting an abstract meaning in verse 264 of Surah al-Baqarah.
