Kegel exercises are done to strengthen your pelvic floor muscles. The go-to move is known as a Kegel exercise. It’s not especially difficult — once you’ve identified the right muscles to squeeze.

For women, doing Kegels during pregnancy can help strengthen the pelvic floor in preparation for labor and help prevent the urine leakage that may occur in the third trimester. Strong pelvic floor muscles in women, can help reduce labor pain, shorten the time of labor, and speed up postpartum recovery.
