Karasjok: The Sami Folk Museum

This is a video-brochure about my visit to Sami museum in North Norway

The Sámiid Vuorka Davvirat is the Sami original name of the Sami Folk Museum in Karasjok

This app/brochure "Karasjok: The Sami Folk Museum" can be used stand-alone.

This is a multimedia brochure including part of my visit to the museum that I recorded in 2014 in Karasjok-Norway.

The museum collection is made up with an indoor and an outdoor exhibition displaying traditional clothes, instruments, handicrafts, ancient religious tools, turf huts and much more that mostly you can see in the videoclip.

NSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

After the splash screen you can use the menu to choose the desired page or with a touch go directly to the information tab at the bottom of which a button will make you play the video-clip.

IMPORTANT: I would like to point out that this app DOES NOT USE sensors or even geolocation programs, so it does not guide you from your home to Sami Folk museum but is designed to be used as a multimedia brochure.

This app is only a brochure with a video clip about the exhibition of the Sami Folk museum I filmed.

This app is contains:

- Map (zoomable static photo)

- Information sheet with general information collected during my guided tour

- n.1 Video clip describing the visit of the museum I made in August 2014.

In addition, the Map you find in the menu is a large photo and I have only included it to give you a general idea of the location of the places described in the video.

This app for Android devices, is based on my travel experience that I have transformed into an app to share my dreams, curiosities and emotions with you.
